what is 2x(squared) + 7x-15

__________________________

4x(squared) - 9

Apr 3rd, 2015

2x2+7x-15= 2x2+10x-3x-15= 2x(x+5)-3(x+5)= (x+5)(2x-3)

4x2-9 = (2x)2-32 = (2x+3)(2x-3)

(2x2+7x-15)/ (4x2-9)= (x+5)(2x-3)/[ (2x+3)(2x-3)]= (x+5)/(2x+3)  if 2x ≠ 3

Thus the answer is (x+5)/(2x+3)
