Factors contributing to moss's growth are:

  • Too much shade:
  • Acidic soil
  • Low soil fertility
  • Poor drainage/wet soils
  • Compacted soils

However no such conditions are prevalent or are lacking near the grounds, hence moss do not grow their !!!
