A certain quantity of a gas occupies 25 cubic meters at a pressure of 1.5 x 10^4 Pa. What will be the volume of that gas if its pressure is increased to 3.00 atm under constant temperature?

Using Boyle's law, P1V1=P2V2

The units of pressure must be identical

1atm= 10.13 x 10^4 Pa, 

?=1.5 x 10^4 

 1.5 x 10^4 x 1/10.13 x10^4= 0.15 atm 

0.15*25= 3*V2

V2=(0.15*25)/3


V2=.15 x 25/3= 1.25 cubic meters
