The film, "When the bough breaks" is a presentation by NMC (national minority
consortia) and therefore creates an early idea that the theme of the film is based on issues of the
minority population in the society. Interestingly, "when the bough breaks" integrates variables
and factors that one can hardly believe are possible to interrelate, including health, racism, stress,
wealth, inequality and social status. The film, therefore, creates a hypothesis and attempts to
address whether inequality in the form of racism or other social forms of discrimination has an
