What I know is that I have 68" Length x 44" Wide piece of glass. The glass itself is priced at $7.00 a square foot. How much will the piece of glass cost me. Please explain how you got to your answer.

Convert inches to feet:

68" = 68/12 = 5.67 ft

44" = 44/12 = 3.67 ft

Then, the area of the glass piece is (5.67)(3.67) = 20.79 sqft

Then the cost is ($7/sqft)(20.79 sqft) = $145.53
