you have purchased on lottery ticket each week for many months and have no won more than 5.00$.you decided based on your experience ,that you are not going to win the grand and so you stop playing the lottery.what type of reasoning did you use?Explain Please

  1. Inductive reasoning is reasoning in which the premises seek to supply strong evidence for (not absolute proof of) the truth of the conclusion.

  2. In this case similar thing is happening, from past events we are taking out a conclusion that we will not win and hence we should stop playing lottery.

  3. Clearly the past incidences are defining the future.

Subway Coast Chandler buys a monthly Metro Card, which entitles him to unlimited subway travel in New york, for 81$ per month.without the metroCARD ,each subway ride cost 2$.how many rides per month would Chandler have to take so that the cost of the rides with metrocard is less than the cost of the rides without the merocard?explain please

I hope you will give a tutor tip for this one !!!

So, $81 is the price of metro card.

And per trip cost is $2.

Clearly, when 41 trips will be done, total value spent on individual trips will be 41 x 2 = $82.

41 is calculating by simply divison of 81 by 2 and then rounding it up.

Please best the solution !!!!!!!!11

MARY purchased 4 tires by mail order.she paid 52.80 $ per tire plus 5.60$ per tire for shipping and handling..there is no tax on this purchase because the tires were purchased out of state.she also had to pay 8.56$,including tax per tire for mounting and balancing .at the local tire store, her total for 4 tires with mounting and balancing would be 324 plus an 8% tax sales .how much did mary save by purchasing the tires through the mail?

Apr 7th, 2015

Total cost per tire paid = 52.80 + 5.60 = $58.40

No. of tires = 4

Total Paid amount = $ 233.60

Additionally tax was paid amounting it to = 233.60 + 8.56 = 242.16

Cost of tires when she could have purchased locally = 324 + 8% of 324 = 324 + 25.6 = 350 approx.

Clearly she saved = 350 - 233.60 = $116.40
