Your timeline must include the following:
Roots of Jazz - Blues, Ragtime, and Brass Bands.
- The first three major style periods of Jazz - Early Jazz (New Orleans/Chicago), Swing, and Bebop
- Musical Characteristics of each time period.
Examples of performers and composers in each style (at least three for each).
