Noam Scheiber in his article in the New York Times has addressed the important changes
in the federal labor policy. In this article titled Trump Takes Steps to Undo Obama Legacy on
Labor, Scheiber points out that the current regime under President Donald Trump has proposed
deep cuts “to the Labor Department and job-training programs across the federal
government.”(Scheiber, 2017, par 1). Moreover, the author suggests that Trump can swing the
board to a Republican Majority and through that, he can make reverse rulings that increased the
chances of a company to be responsible for labor violation by contractors. Reverse, laws that
allowed smaller groups of workers to form unions and finally, take away the rights of graduate
