Nursing burnout change proposal
Outline
Thesis statement: There are many people who have wanted to get into nursing for years because
of the good pay and perks it offers. The desire of young people to become nurses is
understandable. In spite of the high public impression of the profession, there are certain
drawbacks, most notably burnout among nurses. For various reasons, improving the nurse-topatient ratio might reduce nursing burnout.

Introduction and Problem
Due to the excellent salary and benefits associated with the
nursing profession, it is a profession that many individuals have long
aspired to pursue. It is not surprising that growing children continue
to aspire to become health professionals, namely nurses. Despite the
positive perception of the profession, there are negative aspects of
the employment, particularly in regards to nursing burnout. Numerous
nurses strive day in and day out to offer great treatment to their

patients(De, 2019, p.312). They become exhausted, weary, and even
sad as a result of the heavy workload that comes with the title of
nurse. Nurse Burnout is related to both mental and physical tiredness
and is caused by a variety of underlying nursing issues. Most nurses
may be unknowingly affected by burnout and other stressors.

Theory
Kurt Lewin created the Lewins Change Theory in 1940. Change in an organization necessitates
several steps, some of which were described in theory. After examining the concept of change in
organizations, he devised a basic procedure that can be adopted in any firm, independent of the
environment. Many of the steps in Lewin's model for implementing change were based on preparing
the organization's thinking to accept the need for change, working toward accomplishing the desired
goal, and then adapting to the new norm(De, 2019, p.312). The notion is highly relevant to the
management of change. It's best to think of a change in an organization as a movement away from
the present or typical state or even to a new one that is unknown in most circumstances.

Organizational structure, culture, obstacles, ambiguity, and the best direction for change are all
