how do I get the answer to writing this in slope -intercept form for x-y=4
this is in a 8th grade math book parent trying to help son with homework and lost .were would be the best place to start. how to get answers to
write each equation in slope-intercept form and then find the slope and y-intercept
write each equation in slope-intercept form and then find the slope and y-intercept:
the slope-intercept form would be y=kx+b, with k as slope, b as y-intercept
3x=9y: y=(1/3)x, k=1/3, b=0
3x-y=14: y=3x-14, k=3, b=-14
2x-8y=32: y=(1/4)x-4, k=1/4, b=-4
x+4y=12: y=(-1/4)x+3, k=-1/4, b=3
not sure what the first part of the question is asking...if you have any other questions, let me know, thanks.
