When we examine the link between different components of the cognitive abilities:
intelligence, creativity, memory as well as knowledge have been a primary area of empirical
research. For many years, social researchers and scientists have examined how these variables or
elements are interrelated. The relationship between the aforementioned cognitive procedures is
still under intense debate. This is mainly because it is completely clear how the concepts are
associated. Notably, two of the most studied cognitive abilities include the creativity and
intelligence. A broad body of research attempts to develop how these notions of creativity, as
well as the intelligence, relate to one another. According to Jauk et al., (2013), the study explains
the research framework that determines and identifies concerning the five possible relationships
which exist between the intelligence and creativity. Typically, the framework recommends that
the two elements can be looked at independently, overlapping variables and they can also be
considered as coincident sets, and they can be each other’s subset as well as be disjoint sets (Jauk
et al., 2013).

individuals can provide the available solutions to old challenges, better than others are. In simple
terms, creativity will enable an individual to approach problems from a different, but the better
point of view. On the other hand, intelligence refers to the capability of an individual to engage
