3. \$7.75 * 11 hours = \$85.25, FICA (7.65%) = \$6.521625, Federal Withholding (10.15%) = \$8.652875, State (6.8%) = \$5.797

\$85.25 - \$6.521625 - \$8.652875 - \$5.797 = \$64.278 = \$64.28 Net income to nearest cent

4. \$8.10 * 10 hr/week * 3 weeks = \$243, FICA (7.65%) = \$18.5895, Federal (9.35%) = \$22.7205, State (7.2%) = \$17.496

\$243.00 - \$18.5895 - \$22.7205 - \$17.496 = \$184.194 = \$184.19 Net income to nearest cent.

Just remember when you go to multiply percentages like 7.65%, when you put it in the calculator you will put 0.0765 (when you change % to decimal, move decimal TWO SPACES TO THE LEFT!). That is probably where you are making your mistakes.  Same goes for the other percentages, you can't multiply 7.65 as a percentage and get the right answer, you MUST CHANGE IT TO A DECIMAL.  If you need more help on converting % to decimal or decimal to %, let me know and I will take you step by step.
