Tobacco use is the leading preventable cause of death in the world. Smoking tobacco is a
significant risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Although tobacco smoking cessation has
occurred over the years, a new variety of combustible and non-combustible tobacco products
have emerged in the United States. The CDC analyzed data from the National Health Interview
Survey (NHIS) and found that adults aged eighteen years and above who smoke tobacco
