Hiring of employees
One thing to note as a manager is that the organization’s favorable outcome relies upon hiring
the right people, placing them on the accurate seats, as well as providing them with opportunities
to grow. The question is how to get the right people in the very first place. Paying higher salaries
does not really attract the best candidates as the perfect employees for the organization are those
not driven by money but by the organization’s mission this is because money is an asset and
talent is not. Without talent an organization cannot revamp. Therefore, in order to employ the
right people as a manager it is important to follow various steps so as to meet the organization’s
goals such as;
Describe the organization’s vision, values and goals.
Detect if the candidates are skilled, mission-driven and growth-oriented.
Question and evaluate the candidates for their capability to meet the challenges particular to my
organization.
Cautiously make a determination who best fit the job.

Management of employees
As a manager there are ways to start the team off on the right foot. The first step is getting to
know each other and inspire the group members to get to know each other better. A good way to
do this is by beginning by holding team-building activities or retreats. The second step is
showing what as a manager I stand for. This is by clarifying what is behind my resolutions
reached, my preferences, and how I will examine the team’s accomplishments individually and
collectively. Another step is defining how they should work as well as setting goals. This is a
crucial step, setting attainable goals for the team. Lastly, it is important as a manager to solve
business issue that has a dramatic influence early, this shows as a manager I can listen and get
