What volume of 1.00 M Ca(OH)2 is needed to neutralize 250.0 mL of 0.100 M HCl?

Apr 9th, 2015

Ca(OH)2+2HCL = CaCl2 + 2H2O

Moles of HCl= 0.1*250/1000=0.025 moles

mole ratio= 2:1

moles of Ca(OH)2= 0.0125 moles

volume of Ca(OH)2= 0.0125*1000/1= 12.5 mL....................................................please best me
