Week 4: a) based in the information gleaned from the assignment in chapter 10, suggest 3 different conceptual models for the system. You should consider each of the aspects of a conceptual model discussed in this chapter: interface metaphor, interaction type, interaction type, activities it will support, functions, relationships between functions, and information requirements. Of these conceptual models, decide which one seems most appropriate and articulate the reasons why. c) consider your products concrete design. Sketch out the applications landing page. Consider the layout, use the colors, navigation, audio, animation etc. while doing this, use the 3 main question introduced in chapter 6 as guidance: where am I? what’s here? Where can I go? Write 1 or 2 sentences explaining your choices, and consider whether the choice is a usability consideration or a user experience consideration. d) sketch out an experience map for your product. Use the scenarios and personas u have already generated to explore the user’s experience. In particular, identify any new interaction issues that you have not considered before, and suggest what you could do to address them. e) how does your product differ from application that typically might emerge from the Maker Movement? Do software development kits have a role? If so, what is the role? if not, why do you think not? Week 5: n activity 6,4 we asked of you to compare the experience of playing the game of snake on a PC with playing on a sell or smart phone. For this assignment we want you to consider the pros and cons of playing the same game using different interfaces. Select 3 interfaces other than GUI and mobile ones example tangible, wearable and shareable and describe how the games could be re-designed for each of this, taking into account to user group to be targeted, for example the tangible game could be designed for your young children, the wearable interface for young adults and the sharable interface for elderly people. A) Go through the research and design issues for each interface and consider whether they are relevant for the game Settings and what issues there raise. For the wearable interface, issues to do with comfort and by hygiene are important when designing the game B) Describe a hypothetical scenario of how the game would be played for each of the three interfaces. C) Consider specific design issues that will need to be addressed, for example for the shareable surface would it be best to have a tabletop or a well based surface ? How will the user interact with the snake for each of the different interfaces but using a pen, fingertips, other input devices? Is it best to have you the presentation of a snake for each player with ? If multiple snakes are used what would happen if one person tries to move another person snake? Would you add any other rules? And so on D) Compare the pros and cons of designing a snake game using the three different interfaces with respect to how it played on the cell phone and the PC. This assignment contains work on the online banking facility introduced at the end of the chapter 10. The work will be continued in the assignment for chapter 14 and 15 A) assume that he will produce your online booking facility using in a Agile approach 1. Suggest the kind of user research you would like to conduct for your product before iteration cycles begin. 2. Prioritize the requirements for your project according to business value, I.e which requirements are likely to provide the greatest business benefit, and sketch out the UX design work you would expect to undertake during the first four interface cycles that is cycle 0 and cycles 1 to 3 B) Using one of them mock up tools introduced above, generate a mock up of your products landing page, as developed in the assignment for Chapter 11

Conceptual model 1:
It is an interactive mode where when it instructs its interaction pattern is permeating
computing. A suitable of this interface metaphor would be buying a ticket at the box office
window. This model when putting into use, it will be able to support buying of many tickets
and finding the most beast seat available. It Will allow people to pay their airline tickets on
an online platform and email the tickets or hold them at the box office. It will also provide
support in giving directions on events and looking at future activities. The information to be
needed includes the number of ticket credit card number and name of the passenger. It will
also need the selection of seat location.
Conceptual model 2
It involves navigation interaction and it allows people to have access to any place
they want to access the web. An appropriate interface metaphor is when buying a ticket at
the box office window or over the phone. The model will support buying of multiple tickets.
This will create a platform of allowing prospective customers to pay online and have tickets
at the box office. Among the information needed include, the ticket credit card number,
number of tickets and name of the passenger. Its convenience is because it provides
