is there a way you can demonstrate solving with cross multiplication? I have several problems like this and would like to learn to use this method to solve. this is for a pharmacy tech class.

okay

1mg=0.001g

789mg=?

crossmultiplying gives 789*0.01/1= 0.789g

1g=0.001kg

0.789=?

we get 0.789*0.001/1= 0.000789kg

then 1mg=1000mcg

789mg=?

we get 789*1000/1= 789000mcg
