Baroque art was first witnessed in Europe and later on followed by Rococo art. Major
comparison between the two is that they are admirable and also happen to be unique form of art.
Baroque art is very complex and highly advanced form of ornamentation that was developed in
Europe between 17th and 18th century. Baroque art (for example Ecstasy of St Theresa) is
characterized by being dramatic and well balanced in disparate parts. This art was also

characterized by darkness and violence accompanied by plumb nudes. Despite the fact of it being
rich, it is generally violent. Rococo art was largely light heated, rosy tinted and generally pastoral
