So this is the complete question:

Rate of change of x and y is given by ( y2 - y1 ) / ( x2 - x1 )

Here, x1= 2 , x2 = 4

y1 = 6, y2 = 26

Hence the rate of change will be given by:

( 26 - 6 ) / ( 4 - 2 ) 

20 / 2
