Description
From your perspective why would multiculturalism be an issue for some people?
Explanation & Answer
Multiculturalism is the condition of different groups of cultures together in one society, usually due to immigrant communities or when a society advocates this condition. Supporters claim that multiculturalism enhances society; however, critics more often are those that actually use this term.
Critics claim that multiculturalism results in a loss of national identity. Also, some cultures don't mix together they claim. In addition, it can encourage subcultures that are not positive to society. Multiculturalism itself is sometimes seen as a paradox. It is in itself a cultural value particular to the West. Some cultures are not tolerant of other cultures, so forcing them to respect these other cultures is actually not respecting them.
