A quantity of gaseous carbon dioxide at 1.00 atm and 23ºC occupies 20.0 L. What will be the volume at 2.10 atm and 23ºC?

P2= 2.10atm

V1= 20 L

V2= ?

According to the formula of Boyles law,

P1V1=P2V2

Then,

1*20=2.10*V2

V2=20/2.10

V2=9.5 L
