Assignment - Curriculum Design Models

This week we will begin to look more into curriculum design models, specifically those that work well for

adult learners. For this assignment, choose two different curriculum design models to compare and

contrast. It can be any models you wish to explore (ADDIE, SAM, Agile, Rapid Content, Backward Design,

etc.).

For this assignment, you are going to prepare a presentation about two different curriculum design

models. Begin with an introduction and then compare and contrast two curriculum design models you

think might be applicable for adult learners. Provide an overview and important components of each

design, then prepare a chart and/or other visual representation of how they are similar and how they

are different. Next, choose and discuss which model you think is most practical to your current or future

role as an ECE (Be sure to state what it is). Lastly, don't forget to provide the references used.

You have the opportunity to create this presentation in any format you wish. You may use a PowerPoint,

a Prezi, a video you upload to YouTube, or any other creative format with your Instructor's permission.

This assignment must be submitted no later than midnight on Sunday, week three. If you have uploaded

to YouTube or have a link to your submission, please just submit that in the comments box or in a Word

document with the link to view.
