what volume of 0.500 M hydrochloric acid is required to exactly neutralize 40.00 mL 0.150 M NaOH?

Apr 12th, 2015

HCl+NaOH = NaCl+H2O

The ratio of HCL and NaOH is 1 to 1

let volume be x ml, then we have

x*0.5 = 40*0.150

x = 12 ml
