1.A recipe calls for 3/4 cup of flour, 1/3 cup of sugar, 2/3  teaspoon cinnamon, 3/8 teaspoon baking powder, and teaspoon salt.  

(a) How much flour do you need for 1/2 of a recipe?

(b) How much sugar do you need for 3/4 of a recipe?

(c) How much cinnamon do you need for 3/4 of a recipe?

(d) How much baking powder do you need for 5/6 of a recipe?

(e) How much salt do you need for 2/3 of a recipe?

(a). 1/ 2 x 3/4 = 3/8 cup.  Flour

(b0 1/3 x 3/4 = 1/4 cup sugar

(c) 2/3 x 3/4 = 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

(d) 3/8 x 5/6 = 5/16 teaspoon baking powder

(e) 1 x 2/3 = 2/3 teaspoon salt

(f) 3/4 x 1/4 = 3/16 flour cup
