- writing a reply is part of the assignment .write a reply for this post ( should be 100 words at least) ---------------- In my opinion, the most important reason for studying freud was when the video mentioned that freud said people are influenced by an unconscious mind. I believe that this is true because for example if you grew up being used to certain things and behaviors from your parents or whoever raised you then you would apply those traits/behaviors to your everyday life and wouldn't even be aware because it was what your mind would be used to. Even if you tried to change those traits/behaviors with your conscious mind I feel like you could but at the end of the day its what your unconscious mind is used to so it would be very hard to change them. The idea I find most interesting is that physcoanalysis therapy because before I watched this video I did not know that when you go to therapy and talk to your therapist it is called physcoanalysis therapy.
