Description

Using the same three article from before answer 3 questions. 1.Explain why you believe the identified gap in the research should be explored in future research. 2nd question: Explain how the claims made by the authors of the studies presented in your chosen track would logically inform future research into your identified gap/ 3rd question: Explain the benefit of the research you have proposed to the field of psychology. All APA format and all original. Also no references or in text cites needed unless you think it's better. All original. Each question needs 6 -8 sentences or more is okay

1. Explain why you believe the identified gap in the research should be explored in future
research
As pointed out in the previous assignment, a significant gap was identified regarding the
influence that the dosage of alcohol during prenatal exposure could have on the development of
children (Chasnoff et al., 2015; Lucas et al., 2014; Mattson et al., 2006). I believe that research in
this area is crucial to understand the different effects that prenatal alcohol exposure can have on
development, and most importantly, to use this information in the development of different
treatment alternatives. From this point of view, psychologists can only identify fetal alcohol
syndrome once the symptoms appear, and in this moment the damage to the children’s health and
the retardment in their development is significant. Furthermore, as pointed out by Chasnoff et al.
(2015), children that had been exposed to prenatal alcohol were misdiagnosed or undiagnosed
many times, and could thus not be treated adequately.

However, if this area is explored in future research and a relationship is established
between the dosage to which children had been exposed and the different symptoms, it would be
possible to predict the different symptoms before they appear, hence being possible to help these
children. For instance, assuming that a child had been exposed to a certain dosage of prena...
