them about what they should know to prevent health issues and improve recovery. Patient
education may cover issues like medication administration, hygiene, diet, and other important
issues that may affect their outcomes. Education primarily aims to enable patients to change their
behaviors. The use of appropriate learning theories is therefore important to enable the success of
