I cannot figure out how to describe the behavior for this polynomial.

The graph of q(x) has the same behavior for x → ∞ as its leading term –2x^{3}.

Since

–2x^{3 }→ –∞ as x → +∞, q(x) also → –∞ as x → +∞

–2x^{3 }→ +∞ as x → –∞, q(x) also → +∞ as x → –∞
