a triangular pyramid has a volume of 10 inches cubed and a height of 5 inches.  What would be the volume of the pyramid if it had a rectangular base?

the area of a base will increase by 2, so the volume  by the formula V= 1/3 * base area*height, will also change by 2.

therefore the volume will be 20 in^3.
