Exporting, joint ventures, licensing, direct investment, trade intermediaries, US
commercial centers, and alliances are the steps of going 3 international. A company starts by
exporting some of its products to global customers. If the exportation is lucrative, the company
then engages in licensing and then engages in joint ventures. The next step after creating a sales
subsidiary is to seek a license to operate in a foreign jurisdiction (Horak et al., 2019). The
international human resource department is heavily involved in licensing problems. The
final step is to oversee the foreign company's activities. At this level, human resource
management must focus on the business's stakeholders.
