diseases often coevolve with their hosts (e.g. myxomatosis and rabbits). Based on this, what do you predict will
happen to the effects of HIV (virus that causes the disease AIDS) on humans
over time and why?
HIV is retrovirus, that infect human Tcells that have Cd4+ receptors that helps in body's defence mechanism.
This virus has been evolving in its form over time and that is why finding the cure to it has been a nightmare to the scientist trying to find it's definitive cure. It is due to this reason that a combination of drugs are used to try and attack this virus at different stages of its life cycle.
we are likely to get the cure of this virus with the increased researches that are being done in the world currently, if not so, it can mutate to forms that will be very difficult to treat
