a) TASK DEFINITION
In any decision making and evaluation process, it is important to first establish and
understand the specific task at hand. Thus it is necessary to have a written down clear and
concise definition of all aspects of the task. With no clear definition of the objective that
should be achieved at the end of the project, there is a likelihood of wrong decision being
taken. As the manager, the task definition in this case is whether the company should
outsource a division of the organisation in another country. Other questions in the task
definition will include;
