A. Introduction: (7.5 Marks)
Question 1 A
The ability to log, rate, code, collect and share facts and regulations by a company is what
Knowledge management consists of. These activities help organizations to reduce the
accumulation of missed information among their staff. Generally, the concept of Knowledge
management is that it is made up of tools that are used for record capture, regulations, record
management, or recovery of knowledge. Knowledge management assists by enabling an
organization and its staff to increase their knowledge, and it evolves from adoption and then
broadcasted by an implementation (Kanwal, 2021).
The following are ways in which knowledge management is essential today: 1. In order for a company to thrive, it must first make sure that it has the knowledge and
capability to implement the appropriate decisions so as not to suffer from losses.
Knowledge management assists in this because the knowledge acquired helps the
company strategize appropriately during decision-making (Lokman & Naser, 2019).
2. Knowledge management has the ability to help companies to adapt better ways and
processes that are in line with emerging opportunities in the market. This is helpful,
especially when there are frequent dynamic changes that could break the company if
not handled in the proper manner (Lokman & Naser, 2019).
3. This type of management has the benefit of helping in the planning. It can assist in
monitoring external events, lowering the probability and chances of plans needing
modification (Lokman & Naser, 2019).
4. When a company gathers and has effective knowledge management, it can achieve
greater efficiency and productivity within its organization (Lokman & Naser, 2019).

5. A company that has efficient knowledge management compared to the one that lacks
in this department is more likely to have lesser errors and redundancy (Lokman &
Naser, 2019).
6. Another benefit is that Knowledge management enables an organization to have faster
problem resolution, increased employee autonomy, and improved relationships with
employees (Lokman & Naser, 2019).
7. Lastly, this type of management brings about the improvement of products and
services and a reduction in research and development costs (Lokman & Naser, 2019).

the explicit character of knowledge. Through this generation, knowledge was
explained as an object that can be stored in repositories. It states that knowledge can
be manipulated, then after that, it is combined and then transferred using different
types of technology to employees and the heads of departments in the company, and it
