During your practicum experience, observe the classroom dynamics in the learning environment. Take notes on the following without using specific names of students:
- Classroom environment - play, development levels, and diversity in the classroom.
- How the classroom environment factors effect instruction.
- How the classroom environment factors foster a successful learning environment.
- Effective teaching practices that built an anti-bias environment that supported diverse learners.
- Strategies you would use that would contribute to an anti-bias learning environment.

Play, development levels, and diversity observed in the classroom
Children in the classroom played freely various games according to their likes and preferences.
According to the games played by the children, it could be noted that they had attained different
cognitive and communication skills. Children talked to one another in languages they could both
understand. Also, they apologized to their colleagues when one happened to offend another. In
situations that one of them was crying or low in mood, friends approached him/her to offer oral
and emotional support. This happened irrespective of race, religion or any other factors which
revealed the various levels of development as exhibited by the children.
