A 19cm length of .277mm diameter nichrome wire is welded into a circular loop. The loop is placed between the poles of an electromagnet and a field of .55T is switched on in a time of 14ms. Super stuck on this. :(

EMF = .55T * Area*loops / time 

EMF =- .55 * (pi*.19m^2) * 1 / .0016s 

EMF = - 50.893 Volts 

Final answer is 

-50.893 volts. Lenz law says that it should be negative.

Please note, that the overall question of concern, is that it is asking for the induced CURRENT (in Amps) not the voltage....
