Executive Summary

Health care has raised hot debates among scholars and researchers. In the United States,
the number one root cause of death is cardiovascular conditions. Illness rates have continuously
increased in the recent years and the widespread does not elucidate any signs of declining.
Typically, cardiovascular conditions are diagnosed or detected by medics at a phase whereby
treatment and a change of risky behaviors established throughout a lifetime is rendered difficult.
A good number of U.S.A citizens are devastated by anxiety in their day-to-day lives. As we
speak, the sole problem which the health practitioners and educators have ignored is the
advantages of anxiety management in the first step of addressing cardiovascular conditions. This
liability can be removed from the health care system of United States by encouraging parents to
model and adopt confident anxiety management practices to their offspring at a younger age. If
my proposal is executed efficiently, Americans and other people will be capable to foil
cardiovascular conditions altogether.
Introduction
CVD (Cardiovascular disease) is a global illness characterized by unusual functioning of
the heart and blood vessels. It is the most common and costly health challenge that nations face
at the moment. Stroke, coronary heart illness, congestive heart failure, and peripheral artery
sickness are the most common types of CVD (Anderson et.al., 2016). Maintaining a healthy
lifestyle through the control of risk factors can fundamentally avert CVD. According to Cooper
and Marshall (2013), the main adjustable risk factors for CVD include high blood pressure,
tobacco consumption, excessive body fat, physical inactivity, high cholesterol and diabetes.

Estruch et.al. (2013) report concluded that the economic impact of CVD on the health
care systems of a country will increase as its populace ages. As currently constituted, the U.S.
government do not have adequate resources to continue to support the health care structure.
Therefore, it will be wise to change the structure of health care to absorb methods which captures
behaviors that are quite easy to adjust, financially stable and compatible with American medical
practices.
History and Evolution of the American Medical Practice
The American health care comprised of homeopaths, botanical healers, midwives and
chiropractors until 1850’s. In the 19th century, the prosed germ theory led to scientific
advancements in antiseptic tactics and surgery. To that effect, medical education was
