Total Number of muffins = 12

Number of blue berry muffins = 7

Number of banana muffins = 3

Sum of blue berry muffins and banana muffins = 10

Number of cranberry muffins = 12 - (Sum of blue berry muffins and banana muffins)

                                               =12 - 10

                                               =2

fractional part of the bag of muffins was cranberry = Number of cranberry muffins /Total Number of muffins

                                                                                 = 2/12

                                                                                  =1/6
