We used the protractor to find the angles, and we draw lines in the directions 60, 120, 180, 240, 300 and 360 degrees so that we got 6 angles. 𝐹 7- Than we calculate F by using the following formula 𝐹 = 𝑚𝑎𝑥 so that we find F which is 2 from the center to the top. 8- We used two pieces of wood in the vise so that the surface of the nut does not damage. 9- After we connected the lines, we used the double cut file to cut each side to shape as nut. 10- It took 3 hours. Third class: 1- We assumed the center is the same 2- We picked the appropriate drill 3- We used a machine to drill 4- We used a tap and die set to thrill the nut the thrill process is to round once and go back for half round 5- We had the nut in the vise and use the hand tap 6- It took one hour. Errors happened in the lab: 1- The thickness is less than the Min in the above table. 2- Sides very 3- When drilling, we missed the center. 4- When we were thrilling the hole, we were not straight. Safety equipment: 1- Goggles.

Introduction
Bolts and nuts are industrial fasteners. They are daily consumable items in engineering
industries. Bolt is a piece of metal rod, whose one end is unsettled and the other end is threaded.
Nut is the item, which rolls on these threads. Bolt and nuts can be sold independently in the
market. Therefore, manufacturers follow a standard in manufacturing bolts and nuts so that there
is uniformity of the product in the market.
The objective for this lab was to manufacture a hex thick nut by using basic tools used in
manufacturing shops. The tolerancing and dimensioning of the nut was according to the standard
table of Hex Thick Slotted Nuts.
