ETHICAL CONFLICTS IN CORRECTIONS

When an Assistant District Attorney (ADA) is convicted and yet he is the one supposed
to give legal verdicts to law offenders, such people bear harsh repercussions in jail. The greatest
impact can be seen when they serve their time in prison and on probation. The ethical conflicts
they encounter are usually based on hatred, judgment, and revenge from the people (Braswell et
al., 2017). This is because they believe that such a person is supposed to be a law enforcer
instead of a lawbreaker. One of the ethical conflicts the ADA cannot bypass while in prison is
harassment. Prisons are mostly unsafe places because they are filled with violent offenders such
as murders, rapists, and thieves.
Even though officers are usually present to prevent any form...
