A parking lot had 80 cars 40% were silver 20 were tan and the rest were white what percent of those cars were white

28 cars were white!!! 80x0.40=32 so then subtract that 32 from the origional 80 that will tell you how many were silver. which is 48 cars. Next you know that 20 of them were also tan. That alots for 52 cars! so take 80 ad subtract the 52 and you will get 28 white cars.
