Polynomial is an expression consisting of
variables (or indeterminates) and coefficients, that involves only the
operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and non-negative
integer exponents.

Eg: ax^3 +bx^2 + Cx + d is an example of a polynomial

a, b, c, are called coefficients of the polynomial.

d is a constant term which is any real number.

The variable used here is x.

The highest power of the variable is called the degree of the polynomial.

Here in this example, its 3.
