Prepare a report to me (your instructor) as if I am a potential investor in the corporation you have used during the course. The report should be no more than fifteen (15) pages using MS Word. Appendices of numerical data are not included in the page count above. Your report should address the items shown below, which are the objectives of the course, and describe in an objective, professional manner how you as a (soon-to-be) MBA graduate would present a report related to your corporation as well as the results you have achieved from completing the course. You have to convince your instructor to invest in your corporation as well as to continue to seek your business and financial advice in the future.
On completion of the report, you should be able to:
1.Demonstrate an understanding of corporate financial accounting topics.
2.Demonstrate an ability to analyze financial accounting problems.
3.Demonstrate an understanding of the impact of foreign exchange fluctuations.
4.Demonstrate an understanding of off-balance sheet financing.
5.Be able to prepare a Statement of Cash Flows and/or reconcile it with the Income Statement and the Balance Sheet using the indirect method.
6.Describe how to adjust financial statements for changes in accounting (principles, estimates, and errors) and how these changes impact financial ratios.
7.Demonstrate an understanding of the major differences in reported financial results when using US GAAP vs. IFRS and the impact on analysis.
