Introduction
According to Ruggles S (1997), a researcher conducting the demographic data in the

Several fluctuations in the in the last half century have affected marriage and divorce rates. The
evolution of various woman liberation movements, the advance of the sexual revolution and an

marriage within the last fifty years. Cultural norms changed the possibility of one remaining
single and increased the probability of cohabitation. Besides, a decrease in the stigma attached to
divorce and various laws which legalized divorce significantly contributed to the increase in
divorce rates.
As from the statistics of the National Longitudinal Survey for the Youths 1978(NLSY79)-survey
for the people, it explains marriage and divorce pattern for the cohort of young baby rapidly rise
to until to the age of 46 years where single parenthood raises many children. Specifically, this
case study attempts to explain the difference in marriage and divorce patterns by educational
achievements and by age at marriage.
An estimable of 85 percentage from NLSY79 research shows that many cohorts married
at the age of 46, and a good number of those who married, married more than once. A
considerable amount of marriage is experienced at the age of 28, and at the period of around 35
