central angle of pentagon is 360/5 = 72

area of each sector is 1/2(6.8)(6.8)sin72 = 22 sq.in

there are 6 sectors:  6(22) = 132 sq.in

OOPS, sorry!  There are FIVE sectors in a pentagon, not six.

So, the answer is 5(22) = 110 sq.in
