Probably you know that vector acts as a (parallel) translation. Such a transformation move segments into segments and triangles into triangles. So it is sufficient to find where the points A, B, C will be moved. For this we need to "apply" the vector V to them, and obtain the resulting points A', B' and C' (and then to join A'B'C' to form a triangle). Please see picture attached.
