willing to reach. In spite of this, gaining entry and extending into Sub-Saharan region is not easy
as compared to entering Europe or the United States. The human resource (HR) of an
organization must be tactful in helping their employees navigate through the challenges of
capturing these new markets (Marchington, Wilkinson, Donnelly, & Kynighou, 2016). The
department must develop a business strategy that will be instrumental in allowing the newly
posted employees to run in the new marketplace identified successfully. This current paper
creates a development and sustainment plan to support an organization strategy of extending to
open offices in Sub-Sahara Africa.
The organization should set assignment lengths of one year for every employee that is
transferred to the host country. Contracts should be signed on a yearly basis based on the
interests, performance and competency of every team member of the HR department. Employees
who travel with their family members should be guided into residential areas that are near
