I have assumed it to be multiplication and the answer is (4,0)

x = 4

y = 0

plug these values in places of x ang y in the equation y<0.5x 4y>-x

0 < (0.5 x 4) + ( 4 x o) >-4

0 < 2 > -4

Ans (4, 0)

Write an equation that represents the line that passes through the points (5,4) and (-5,0)

gradient m= change in y / change inx

change in y = 0 - 4 = -4

change in x = -5 - 5 = -10

Gradient = -4 / -10 = 4/10 = 2/5

Take one of the coordinates and make the other one unknown

(5, 4) (x, Y)

Gradient = (y - 4) / (x - 4) = 2/5

y - 4 / x - 4  =2/5

cross multiply 5 ( y - 4) = 2 ( x - 4)

5y - 20 = 2x - 8

y = 2/5x + 12/5
