Introduction
Nowadays when look for building it has been computed and engineered, this principle is
about mechanics of rigid bodies. Rigid body concepts are physics that provoke the principle of
force. It includes the torque in which it’s kind of twist force of an object with pivot on certain
distance. Based from rigid bodies force, it can be rotational either sum of counter clockwise or
counterclockwise forces that it’s in equilibrium that is called rotational equilibrium. The sum of
torque is zero called translational equilibrium.
PRE Lab
1. The meaning of torque is that by the pivot with some force and rotating some axis,
mathematically the force multiplied by that force (perpendicular to its distance).
𝜏 = 𝐹𝑑
2. The state of the body in the state of the solid equilibrium should have zero net force
acting on the body (though, in practice, there is a small strength of diversity depending on
the strength of the material).
∑𝐹 = 0
3. The torque on 𝐹1 is clockwise direction so its negative force
Convert centimeter to meter units.
10 𝑐𝑚 = 0.1𝑚
Plug the given Force=10N and Distance unit 0.1m
𝜏 = −(10𝑁)(0.10 𝑚)...
