Magnesium metal reacts with aqueous HCl to give H2 gas:

Mg(s) + 2 HCl(aq)  MgCl2(aq) + H2(g)

The gas that forms is found to have a volume of 3.557 L at 25°C and a pressure of 747 mm(Hg). The vapor pressure of water at 25°C is 23.8 mm(Hg).

PV/T=P2V2/T2

747*3.557/25=23.8*V/25

V=111.642L

I'm sorry but I gave you the wrong questions to be answered (a) What is the partial pressure of the H2 gas and (b) How many grams of magnesium were used in the reaction? Using the same information as above
