Technological innovations and obsolescence. The company has been experiencing this as
one of their significant pressures. Many innovations have been taking place, and as a result, the
new versions replace the older ones hence making those old versions obsolete. This obsolescence
leads to increased costs of output as the operations processes continue. Also, there has been a
struggle in making people adapt to the innovations. In response to this pressure, the company has
first tried to make sure that all its employees are comfortable with the innovations and any
technological change. They have also come up with programs which would be able to scan for
the possibility of any future changes in functionality and also identify any factors that would lead
to obsolescence.
Ethical issues are also another pressure experienced by the company. This is mainly
happening in the finance department where accountants and the chief financial officer have
become unethical in their operations and did not follow the code of ethics. These immoral by the
accountants include performance and valuation overstatement, making financial decisions
without having adequate information and withholding information coming from company’s
